We were so excited for the opportunity to meet the HRH The Countess of Wessex, who recently visited Krowji, during a two-day trip to Cornwall.
We were chosen from a hat to present the HRH The Countess of Wessex with a gift from our collection. We selected and hand crafted the double and single pod pendent in Sterling Silver and Chalcedony. The piece was inspired by a original seaweed sculpture found along the rugged coastline around Mounts Bay.
“The Countess met with studio-holders and Creative Kernow project staff in the Melting Pot Café including Cornwall 365, Miracle Theatre and Cornwall Museums Partnership. She was presented with a gift by Amanda Maltwood of MAMM + MYRGH Goldsmiths. The classic sterling silver Pod Pendant, commissioned by Krowji and created by MAMM + MYRGH was inspired by seaweed found along the Cornish coast and it is hoped will serve as a small, handcrafted reminder of her trip to Cornwall’s largest creative hub.
